1.Can it work with a Hotmail,Yahoo or Gmail or other public email mailboxes?
UserSetups only works with POP3 mailboxes i.e mailboxes which you get with a website. So for instance, if you host a website called myfoodbazar.com then you will create emailids for use with that domain eg.webmaster@myfoodbazar.com or customer@myfoodbazar.com. However, note that it can communicate with any email id in the world from your mailbox.

2.Does it cost anything for me to use this service?
No cost involved at all. We are providing this beta service completely free.

3.How exactly does this work. I am a little confused.
UserSetups acts as the middle layer between your website visitors and you. You need to have 2 email ids for it to work seamlessly. The figure below shows you how the information flows.


All you need to do is remember is that you need 1 email id for UserSetups to communicate with you and another for your visitors/customers to communicate with you.

4.What if I dont want to use your feedback form because I get mails directly from my website users. Can I use that mailbox in UserSetups.?
Yes, UserSetups is flexible enough to handle that scenario. Since all your feedback is sent by email to you, you can download mails from that email id in UserSetups and manage it from there. However, in such a case, you should only download the mails in UserSetups and not anywhere else to keep the continuity of the messages and for UserSetups to be able to keep track of queries.

5.If I have an email id called feedback@mysite.com which I check regularly through Outlook Expres can I still use that email id in UserSetups to collect feedback?

Though in practice that is possible, it is not advisable. When you designate a feedback email id in UserSetups, then use it exclusively for UserSetups. Do not use it for other mails and do not download mails at any other place otherwise UserSetups will find gaps in your feedback data.
